Nestled among the purest waters of Russia, 15^th century vodka makers guarded the secret recipe for health and well-being. Old Russian villagers would travel for days to find the perfect spring of water to create an out of this world experience for your palette. As an integral part of the Russian way of life, each ingredient took over a year to grow and process. The grains were hand planted and harvested, the fruit and vegetables were picked by hand one at a time. Fruits, herbs and honey were an important part of creating flavored vodka. Vodka makers traveled throughout Russian on horse and on foot to discover the best organic flavors for their vodka recipe. With the advancement in technology and the industrial revolution, the recipe was now in full production and available to an elite few in the Russian community. Many could not afford such a lavish product and were only able to fantasize about sharing this vodka with friends and family.

Soon government restrictions for producing vodka skyrocketed and became unreasonable for vodka producers, the production of Slavianskaya Vodka stopped for over 100 years. In the 1900s it was forbidden by the government. Incredibly,  in 1995, Vodka Slavianskaya Inc. was able to rediscover the secret recipe from the same farmer whose family kept the recipe sealed at the bottom of a barrel. This was the last barrel of Slavianskaya vodka in the world. He knew that someday the world will discover the secret to creating ORGANIC vodka.
